Space Simulator App Reviews

No review / suppressed

Well I wrote my initial review about a week ago and when I went to read it today is wasnt there. It said, " be the first to review this app ". Of course I was confused and hit [Write Review] and bingo there was my review from last week. It hadnt been posted. Why? Hmmmm....to bad it wasnt that bad of a review. NOW Ive used the d thing for a week and boy am I f frustrated. I almost broke my screen tapping "target" wth. You should be able to set for a fairly close orbit, burn to round off orbit, then align planes (there IS a MFD btw) but there is no way to input a target like the ISS this was done in free flight btw. Dont try to invent the wheel download Orbiter 2010 and do this thing right. The is nothing more frustrating...well then this thing

Awesome but unlimited fuel does not work on orbit thing

Loved it but the unlimited fuel option on the orbit editor decreases fuel still

Amazing, amazing potential

The good: the graphics are amazing. Seriously, so good I want to lick the screen. Clouds, lighting, cockpits—it’s really, really impressive. The real voice recordings from actual space missions are a nice touch, too. Sometimes it’s easy to forget that you’re looking at a computer simulation. The bad: the copy leaves a lot to be desired. Buttons have text that overflow their bounds, tutorials are half-written (or not-written) and there is disappointing lack of instructions. I’m sure it’s possible to do all kinds of amazing things in-game, but it’s very much trial and error right now. If they were to hire a copy editor and really focus on polishing the rough edges, this could be an amazing offering. I really cannot wait to see where they take it, because even with the warts and rough edges, $4.99 is a steal for this.

Gorgeous visuals, but...

This is a great start, but not a finished product. Documentation is inadequate both within the app and at the developers Wiki. The Apollo and space shuttle models, especially the former, are stunning and mission recreations seem pretty good so car. There is talk of modelling all the major solar system objects, but thus fare we only have the Earth and the Moon. The opening splash screen shows a really terrific animation of a spacecraft orbiting Mars, but neither the craft nor the planet is, as far as I can tell, available to play with as yet. This is going to be a seven-star app if the developers can deliver everything theyve promised and provide useful documentation.

Great

Absolutely awesome game

Clearly a beta version.

Looks beautiful and shows lots of promise, but theres really nothing to do yet. Missions are either "sit and watch with an occasional computer entry," or you have no idea at all what to do. Much of the sim centers around the computer, but you arent given a meaningful set of commands, and the mission instructions are just history lessons. Looking for improvements as this matures.

lots of potential, if you work for nasa

Like the title states, there is a lot of potential, however there is nothing to work off of. (instructions, tutorials) still has many bugs to be worked out, ive been patiently waiting for an update. Even a vague walkthrough with some needed parameters for reentry and such.

Great Potential

Not quite ready for prime time for the price tag,,,

Pigs in Space

Like having Orbiter in your pocket, which is quite an accomplishment. Sure there are bugs and issues, but space isnt perfect... or is it? Anyway, no complaints here, I think its fantastic. Keep up the great work!

Rip off

I love the graphics, and the missions you can do, but this game is a total rip off. First of all it takes forever to complete a mission, and second of all, you cant complete an mission without exploding into pieces. They really need to fix this. Horrible

Awesome game

It is hard at first but when you understand the flight computer and flight dynamics its child play. This is an awesome game if you want to learn about navigation in space. If you are stuck there are tutorials and references in the game. Awesome game.

Interesting very interesting

I think this game looks good and there are some fun scenarios but you guys need to add a lot more. I suggest the Soyuz series, Vostok missions, N1 moon rocket (even though it never made it to the moon), and some space x rockets one of those would be great. The game is good and I feel like if you add more missions this will not turn into a 4 star game but a 5 star game. Keep up the good work

Best space sim ever!!

Hi, guys! This is the best space sim ever developed!! Please keep up the excellent work on it!! This is the space sim what I have been waiting for about 1 and a half years!! Thanks! Cheers, Vincent

Epic

Most epic game ever!!!!!!!!!!!

GREAT BRIXTON DYNAMICS IS AMAZING

Very good it is so worth it. Download it now. It could use a little more rockets though. Other than that it is amazing!!!!!

Great update - worth the wait

Great simulator. The update is fantastic, I anxiously await the follow up updates. Definitely worth the purchase.

Incredible sim

This game is detailed right down to the cockpit where all switches, CPUs etc function with your touch!! Wanna fly the Apollo mission to the moon you can w exact craft they flew right down to the CPU programs they used! Or just do a free flight and go there yourself. Go online and read up this is a complicated realistic sim and what you can do on it depends on how much you want to learn. Im hooked worth the months Ive waited for it and easily worth the $5 drop. Of course no iaps or any of that junk this is a real sim in every way! I will be spending countless hours on this game as I am a space head big time! Buy it now worth every penny.

Absolutely astonishing!

I call this game "pocket orbiter" for a reason! This game/simulator

Dont pay... Wont download

I have yet to play this game because the app wont download. You have taken my money and not provided the product.

Worst game ever

This game is not worth the money didnt tell you any controls and when I went to drive the space ship it had like 3000 buttons not a launch or go button to be seen
