I want a refund this wont download it keeps saying I dont have enough memory to download yet I have 5 apps and 6 pics so plenty of memory

Great sim, not for 5 year olds

This is a full fledged simulator and will take a bit of manual reading online to get the hang of flight. If you just want to play around. Go to the menu, then select a free roam mission. I wish there was some ambient music for the game as well as redoing the mission system, so instead of choosing a premade flight. You could choose a ship and then where you wanted to start flight wether in orbit or landed on a specific moon or planet for free roaming. EDIT: found a glitch with the camera views of the supersonic ship and odyssey ship. The internal view on both is placed wrong, and the external view cam for the odyssey is flipped upside down in free roam. Havent tried other missions but that is what I see so far.

Okay, now Im getting impatient

I wrote a few weeks ago (and I see other commenters saying something similar) that there needs to be an improvement on game instructions (at a minimum). Such has not happened. How long does it take to get together more comprehensive and easily understandable instructions?! Get it together guys!!

Great game, needs documentation

This is a super amazing game, with amazing graphics, controls, and realism! But for the life of me I cant figure out how to do anything cool with the ships and their guidance computers! I want to enjoy this game without needing hours of research to figure out!

Great potential.

The idea is great but does seriously lack in instructions, a lot. And the text included seems to get lost in itself and you find yourself reading something like a wiki history page in the "instructional" text.

Game not for stoners!! Lol

Hi this is a great game and has a lot of potential, but i find it so hard so figure out the controls without having to play for hours trying to figure it out. Am really fascinated with space and would love to see an update to make it just a bit simpler.

Blemishes

It is a lot of fun, and the controls were pretty easy to figure out, but it has some glitches and ugly assets. Also, Annie, I recommend you figure out how much music you have.

Not bad of an update

Not bad of an update sure it has some bugs like you need to fix the audio and the space shuttle is oddly really glossy but the game runs a lot smoother which is good so overall not bad and keep up the good work

Great!

Overall very nicely done, though I would like to see some things fixed or made just a little better.

Great Sim! Plz keep improving

Ive been waiting for a true space simulator like this, however, there is still much to be desired. Please improve the quality and realism of the cockpits and add more view options from different perspectives inside and outside the spacecrafts. The ability to move about the cockpit, functional instruments and docking targets and tilt control would be great. Improvements such as these would would make this the perfect simulation. Great job so far!

Great

This is out of this world. Cons- graphics of the earth are a little glitchy. The earths aerial photo ortho tiles dont always load seamlessly while orbiting. A few bugs- I am not able to crash on the earth. The tutorials really need improvement. Pros- very good graphics, and the possibilities are endless. A nice mix of ancient (Apollo) and modern space technology. Anyway great simulator. Love being able to switch between first and third person views. I would like more of a sandbox create your own mission type option in the next update. For those looking for it, there is a time accelerator button you can use in orbit. You have to push or tap the screen at the top middle where the clock is.

Awesome, but needs some work

Great game. It reminds me a little bit like kerbal space program. It could use some work on the controls. Maybe something easier to use. More user friendly for the person who doesnt really want a simulator experience, but more of an arcade feel.

Awsome

Pls make this sim like ksp and have a option to create a space craft to fly

Work in progress but well worth the $5 (Recommended)

(Updated 4th review). Although there are still glitches and lack of tutorial, the most recent update was definitely a step in the right direction! The graphics are WAY better now and there are some really impressive features. Still dont know how to get to Mars though... Anyway, keep up the great work! Bumped up star for update! What makes this app recommended is that the authors seem generally interested in improving and working on it! There is some real gems in this despite being unfinished. Landing on the moon in the Apollo LM manually is always fun and never gets old. Really in my opinion it could be the BEST APP available period. If they get it polished there is no reason why this shouldnt be an editors choice and a MUST HAVE. Also no in App purchases is refreshing to see and ADDS VALUE! I really want to give 5 stars but there are some glaring issues that must be fixed. Even with those problems I would not hesitate to invest the $5. Well worth it. What NEEDS improvement right NOW; (updated) -When I go to moon orbit mission and go to orbit planner and click focus on Mars (or any planet) my SHIP BLOWS UP! Orbit planner causes ship destruction. -PLEASE ALLOW low altitude time acceleration OVERRIDE. This makes the sim VERY LIMITED, is VERY ANNOYING and can even be a GAME ENDER when stuck accidentally in low orbit. You are forced to wait hours for utterly no reason. -Missions still feel unfinished, Apollo, Shuttle, etc. -Need to know how to travel to other planets although does not seem possible do to exploding ship glitch. Even when I get close to a planet I cannot orbit it. Despite copying what was done on Youtube. -Flying shuttle and Apollo still can feel glitchy. -New update really shows attention to detail, Its time to FIX and improve OLD CONTENT! I still cant travel ANYWHERE but the moon and I have the newest fanciest Ipad available. I have read all the forums too and Youtube vids. -Although not a serious issue I would like to state that this sim is a battery drainer. It is not a major drain but it is noticeable. - In orbit planner if I try to do a certain maneuver I get told not enough Delta V, however if I do the same maneuver in increments I can achieve what I wanted to do. So if I want to orbit over Florida I have to go in and out of planner several times changing the orbit each time. Not sure what this is about. Maybe its correct, but I would think the first burn should achieve the same as multiple little burns for this. -Overall I question the limited Delta V, even with unlimited fuel? -Shuttle is shiny and needs more sound especially on reentry. -MAJOR GLITCH resuming Apollo game saves results in massive glitches and crashing. 2 game saves I have show that the CSM/LM stack has morphed into a GIANT BALL with lunar module legs sticking out in every direction. I took some screenshots of this...Its absolutely HYSTERICAL! (Original review) Imagine you had a rich uncle. So one day your uncle comes by with a present, a brand new Saturn 5 rocket ready to go to the moon. He promises to show how to fly it before he leaves. So the next day your sitting in your rocket and your uncle comes stumbling over to you. Hes hung over and in his hands he throws at you half written instructions, copied and pasted Wikipedia pages, incomplete tutorials and half broken websites. He turns around and leaves. Thats what Space Simulation does. There is no step by step guide, once in awhile you get a random message to press a button and sometimes they disappear before you read them. In the Apollo missions some start out ok but then all of a sudden the instructions and astronaut dialogue disappear and your just floating there not knowing what to do. I cant for the life of me figure out how to go from the earth to the moon or even how to do anything. Ive spent days researching and cant find even simple answers. I also feel the space "flying" has glitches. I have spent 3days trying to manually dock the lunar module and have done it only twice. The controls are buggy, make no sense, and the space craft tend to do unusual movements without any input of control. For instance on manual flight the craft decided not to turn and started rolling in a random direction despite opposite input from me. There NEEDED to be a FULL tutorial from launch to moon landing showing every button and explaining everything as it goes. I cant even figure out how to control time. After a week with this app I did not do a single thing except flip switches. (Updated) I have figured out more to the Sim and I am enjoying it more now. The directions are still vague and it was only through guessing that I got anywhere. I feel the missions are still incomplete and there are glitches. For example when I land the Apollo Lunar lander sometimes the the lander goes into ascent mode and separates from the base of the lander crashing me into the moon. Maybe this is done purpose but there are other glitches. The Apollo missions are definitely incomplete and many cannot be finished. I really hope they finish and refine the issues in this Sim. It is a powerful education tool if properly finished. It could also be a very beautiful and awe inspiring app. Please work on it. The app deserves to be finished.

Controls!!

Great graphics and would have given it 5 stars but the controls are absolutely terrible

Ok

It seems like an amazing game but every time I get passed the atmosphere I just get a black screen. Same when I load up a mission where Im already not in the atmosphere like mercury fly-by plz fix this glitch

Amaizing!!

Love the app! Just need a tutorial for re entry on the Apollo spacecraft

Add more Rockets

I love it a lot cant stop playing but please add more rockets like the space X etc and also cancelled spacecraft like the Ares V.

Horrible

Want my money back, way to hard, how am I supposed to know rocket controls?!!??!?????

Orbiter 2010 for mobile devices

So, I want to start by saying this app is fantastic! If you are interested in space and space travel then this is probably the best all-around space simulator you will find on the App Store. You can choose to recreate missions from the X-15 to the Apollo program to the vehicles of Stanley Kubricks 2001: A Space Odyssey. Pros: Graphics are great for the most part. Great variety in mission selection. Realistic control system for Apollo. Great tutorials. Cons: Earth textures can be buggy or low res at times. Can be hard to get a hang of, but once you do youll enjoy it. Five bucks (though if they continue to update and you continue to play, itll be worth it). Suggestions: I would recommend the Mercury missions. For new users, having missions where you can go suborbital or in a simple orbit might be helpful to get ones bearings in the game. All in all I would give this app 4.5 stars. Though it costs five dollars it really is the best, most realistic, most extensively detailed space simulator you will find right now. Think of it sorta like Orbiter 2010 for the iPhone/iPad/whatever. I hope this review was helpful!
